It also lets federl inmate texting them create personalized postcards that include personal photos. It's a safe and more secure alternative to traditional mail.
Another popular texting app for inmates is GettingOut. It provides "simple reliable, efficient communication" between inmates and their loved family members. The app, available in select correctional facilities, lets inmates upload photos and text their family members and friends using their tablets. Inmates pay $0.25 per message and their loved ones pay costs for accessing the data (but they are not explicit images). You can also make use of the GettingOut app to post images on Facebook or Foursquare and check in on Foursquare, and include a video in the YouTube upload.
